About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
As Business Analyst / Project Coordinator for SDCL & Curriculum you will keep curriculum and program work on schedule, turn client needs into clear requirements, and use data from classrooms and labs to improve what we teach. You will be the person who knows the status of every curriculum project, every content review and every program rollout, and who can show leadership what is working. This is a hands-on role that sits between content creators, trainers, vendors, clients and management.
Requirements gathering and business analysis
· Gather requirements from schools, colleges and partners: grade levels, board (CBSE, ICSE, state), session hours, lab infrastructure, budget and learning goals.
· Convert requirements into clear curriculum briefs: learning outcomes, session structure, materials, assessment approach and success measures.
· Map curriculum to frameworks and standards such as NEP 2020 / NCF where relevant, and keep a coverage matrix.
· Analyse pilot and delivery data: attendance, completion, engagement, assessment results, trainer and student feedback; present findings with recommendations.
· Analyse the cost of each program: kit bill of materials, content development cost, trainer time and margin per session or per student.
· Benchmark competitor curricula, pricing and packaging, and summarise gaps and opportunities.
· Identify process gaps in how curriculum is created and delivered, and propose and implement improvements.
Curriculum project coordination
· Plan and track the curriculum roadmap: new programs, grade-wise modules, upgrades and retirements, with owners, milestones and deadlines.
· Manage the content pipeline from concept to draft, review, pilot, revision and release, and keep every item's status visible in one master tracker.
· Coordinate subject matter experts, instructional designers, trainers, graphic designers and video editors, and chase inputs and approvals on time.
· Run a weekly curriculum stand-up and a monthly review: agenda, decisions, action items and follow-up to closure.
· Identify delays, dependencies and scope changes early, and escalate with options.
· Maintain release calendars so curriculum, kits and trainer training are ready before a program starts.
Program and delivery coordination (SDCL)
· Coordinate rollout of SDCL programs at partner institutions: onboarding, schedules, trainer allocation and kit readiness.
· Track delivery against plan: sessions planned vs delivered, completion rates, and reasons for delays or cancellations.
· Act as the point of contact for institutions on curriculum questions, changes and feedback.
· Coordinate certificates, showcases, competitions and end-of-program reports.
Content operations and quality
· Set up and maintain templates, naming rules and version control for lesson plans, project guides, worksheets and trainer manuals.
· Maintain a central content repository so trainers always use the latest approved version.
· Run review checklists before release: accuracy, language, age-appropriateness, safety instructions, and consistency of format.
· Check that third-party images, code, videos and references used in content are properly licensed or credited.
· Coordinate translation and localisation (for example Hindi and regional languages) and track their review.
Trainer enablement and feedback loop
· Schedule and coordinate train-the-trainer sessions for new and updated curriculum, and maintain trainer guides and FAQs.
· Collect structured feedback from trainers, teachers and students after sessions, and log issues in a change-request list.
· Prioritise curriculum changes with the curriculum lead and track them to release.
Kits, materials and vendor coordination
· Maintain a bill of materials for each project and module, with quantities, alternates and costs.
· Coordinate with procurement and vendors to source components, compare quotes and track delivery.
· Organise test builds of new projects to confirm kits work as written before release.
· Track kit and consumable inventory and flag shortages ahead of program start dates.
Reporting and documentation
· Build and maintain dashboards and MIS: curriculum progress, program delivery, feedback scores, kit readiness and costs.
· Prepare monthly reports for leadership and inputs for investor and partner presentations.
· Prepare proposals, scope documents, SOPs, project plans and impact reports.
· Keep records of contracts, MoUs, work orders and approvals related to curriculum and programs.
Qualifications and experience
· Bachelor's degree in Education, Engineering, Science, Business, Management or a related field.
· 5+ years of experience in project coordination, business analysis, curriculum operations, program management or a similar role.
· Understanding of how curriculum is structured: learning outcomes, lesson plans, activities and assessments.
· Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills, including formulas, pivot tables and charts.
· Strong organisation, attention to detail and follow-through across many parallel projects.
