Full Stack Engineer

About the Role
At Talentlo, we’re building an AI-powered Hiring Intelligence platform to help companies make better hiring decisions.
As a Full Stack Developer, you’ll build and improve features across our web and mobile applications, working on everything from user interfaces to backend services and APIs. You’ll work closely with our product, design, and AI/ML teams to turn ideas into reliable, scalable features.
As an early member of our engineering team, you’ll have real ownership, contribute to technical decisions, and help shape the future of our product.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain full-stack features using React Native, Node.js, and Python.
Develop REST APIs for candidate and recruiter workflows.
Design and optimise relational databases for performance and reliability.
Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
Work with product and design teams to deliver new features.
Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Review code and follow engineering best practices.
Identify and fix bugs, production issues, and performance bottlenecks.
Use Git for version control and team collaboration.
Contribute to technical documentation, architecture decisions, and sprint planning.
Integrate third-party services and cloud infrastructure.
Experience & QualificationsRequired Skills
4+ years of experience in full-stack development.
Strong experience with React Native, Node.js, and Python.
Good understanding of relational databases and SQL.
Experience building and integrating REST APIs.
Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
Preferred Skills
Experience with TypeScript.
Familiarity with AWS and cloud infrastructure.
Experience building scalable, production-ready applications.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Understanding of Agile or Scrum development practices.
Experience working in a startup or product-focused engineering team.
Exposure to AI/ML integrations or data-driven products is a plus.
