Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Interior Designer role based in Navi Mumbai. The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing interior concepts, preparing mood boards, and assisting with space planning and layout designs. Daily tasks include creating and updating drawings, supporting FF&E selection and documentation, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and helping ensure design intent is maintained during execution. The role also involves attending site visits, capturing measurements, preparing presentations for clients, and collaborating with senior designers to refine design solutions and maintain project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop creative interior design concepts for residential and/or commercial projects.
Prepare space planning, furniture layouts, and mood boards.
Create 2D drawings, 3D visualizations, and detailed design presentations.
Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and color schemes.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and project teams.
Ensure designs meet project requirements, quality standards, and timelines.
Requirements:
Degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, or other relevant design software.
Strong creativity, visualization, and communication skills.
Good understanding of materials, finishes, and design trends.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
