Overview
We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building robust automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality releases, and driving automation best practices across web applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright.
Write and execute automated test scripts for web applications (UI and API testing).
Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
Identify, log, and track defects; work closely with development teams for resolution.
Ensure test coverage, reliability, and maintainability of automation suites.
Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
4–8 years of experience in QA automation testing.
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript).
Experience in UI automation and API testing.
Good understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript programming.
Experience with test frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or similar.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
Experience with version control systems (Git).
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong analytical and debugging skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with other automation tools like Selenium, Cypress.
Knowledge of performance testing tools is a plus.
Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments.
Exposure to BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
Experience in test reporting tools (Allure, Extent Reports).
