Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata for an Information Technology Infrastructure Manager and Business Analyst. The role involves overseeing IT infrastructure operations, including servers, networks, and systems, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. The position includes monitoring and maintaining IT services, coordinating upgrades and patches, managing vendors, and resolving technical incidents and service requests. As a Business Analyst, the professional will gather and document business requirements, analyze workflows and processes, and recommend technology solutions that support organizational goals. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, preparing reports and dashboards, supporting IT governance and compliance, and contributing to IT strategy and roadmap planning.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Information Technology and IT Operations, with experience managing enterprise IT environments.
Proficiency in Network Security, including firewalls, VPNs, access control, and security best practices.
Hands-on System Administration skills covering servers, operating systems, and user management.
Demonstrated Troubleshooting ability for complex infrastructure issues, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
Experience in business analysis: requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation.
Knowledge of ITIL or similar service management frameworks and familiarity with IT governance and compliance.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to work on-site in Kolkata.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, ITIL) are an advantage.
