Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Perform Diaphragm Support Operator duties including but not limited to deburr of steam and/or gas turbine components, band match operation, keys and wax operation, nozzle area adjustments, blast cleaning
Follow methods, planning, drawings, and detailed verbal and written instructions
Interface with team members including engineering, quality, and production control
Perform material handling duties as required [fork truck operation required]
Safely perform required rigging tasks and lifts using cranes and related equipment
Perform operator preventative maintenance per workstation standards
May perform box/pack/ship functions including but not limited to preserving, packaging and crating components (includes using power tools); maintaining accurate packing lists and records; and loading shipments on transport vehicles.
May be required to provide production line support (i.e. water spider)
Communicate effectively and work well with others
Maintain accurate written and computer records
Read and understand engineering drawings and specifications
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma / GED
Eligibility Requirements:
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and wear PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, etc.) with or without reasonable accommodations
Ability to work B Shift:
B: 3:30PM - 2AM (MON, TUES, WED, TH)
Pay Rate: The starting pay for this position is $28.7971/hr plus a 10% shift bonus. This posting will close when suitable candidates are identified.
