Role Description The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will lead the planning, design, and review of electrical systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications. Responsibilities include preparing detailed electrical drawings, layouts, single-line diagrams, and load calculations, as well as designing power distribution systems, lighting, and control circuits. The role involves coordinating with project managers, other engineering disciplines, and contractors, providing technical guidance, and resolving design-related issues during execution. The engineer will evaluate technical documents, perform design optimization, support cost estimation, and participate in quality and safety reviews. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Design and Design Engineering, including the ability to create accurate drawings, specifications, and calculations.
Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Electricity principles, including circuit analysis, protection, and equipment selection.
Candidates should possess expertise in Power Distribution, including design of LV and MV systems, panel boards, transformers, and distribution networks.
Candidates should possess familiarity with relevant electrical codes and standards (such as IEC, IS, or equivalent) and practical application in real projects.
Candidates should possess proficiency in CAD or electrical design software, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Candidates should possess effective communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers.
Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with prior experience in electrical design for industrial or commercial projects.
Candidates should possess a commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple design tasks and deadlines.
