Revolution Medicines is a global, commercial-state oncology company dedicated to discovering, developing and delivering innovative medicines for patients with RAS-addicted cancers. Leveraging its differentiated RAS(ON) tri-complex inhibitor platform, the company is advancing a broad, integrated portfolio of oral RAS(ON) inhibitors designed to directly target the active, cancer-driving state of RAS. Founded on rigorous scientific inquiry and a willingness to challenge long-held assumptions, Revolution Medicines is committed to changing the trajectory of disease for patients with RAS-addicted cancers worldwide.
Our people are united by a shared way of working: follow the science, challenge assumptions, act with urgency and hold ourselves to a high standard of rigor—all in service of patients.
The Opportunity:
Revolution Medicines is seeking a Director, Revenue Accounting and Finance to provide leadership across revenue accounting, gross to net accounting and forecasting, and related commercial finance activities as the company continues to scale its commercial operations.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Revenue Accounting and Finance, this role will lead critical revenue and gross to net processes, including financial close, forecasting, controls, government pricing coordination, analytics, and global revenue reporting. The Director will balance strong operational execution with longer term process development, helping establish scalable methodologies, controls, and reporting capabilities to support the company’s continued commercial growth.
This individual will serve as a senior Finance partner to Commercial, Market Access, Analytics & Insights, Corporate Accounting, FP&A, and regional Finance teams. The ideal candidate will bring deep pharmaceutical revenue and gross to net expertise, strong technical accounting judgment, and the ability to lead complex cross functional initiatives, influence business decisions, and translate commercial and market dynamics into actionable financial insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee monthly product revenue and gross to net close activities, including the calculation, review, and monitoring of accruals and reserve balances for prompt pay discounts, copay and patient assistance programs, returns, Medicaid, Medicare Part D, 340B, VA/DoD, and other forms of variable consideration.
Provide leadership and oversight of revenue and GTN accounting processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, flux analyses, reserve rollforwards, close schedules, and supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and appropriate review.
Own and continuously strengthen the control environment for revenue and GTN processes, establishing scalable policies, procedures, and internal controls that support SOX compliance, audit readiness, and continued commercial growth.
Lead the development and evolution of RevMed’s GTN forecasting models and methodologies for budget, forecast, long range planning, and scenario analysis, ensuring assumptions and methodologies appropriately reflect changing business and market dynamics.
Serve as a senior Finance partner to Commercial and Market Access, providing financial leadership on GTN assumptions, forecast development, performance trends, pricing and contracting considerations, and the financial implications of evolving access strategies.
Lead partnership with Analytics & Insights to incorporate demand, patient, payer, and market data into GTN forecasts and analyses and translate emerging trends into actionable insights for Finance and business leadership.
Drive the development of analytics and management reporting that provide visibility into gross sales, discounts, reserve adequacy, forecast accuracy, and key risks and opportunities, and use these insights to inform senior leadership decision making.
Provide oversight of the external government pricing consultant relationship, including data submissions, review of government pricing calculations and outputs, resolution of complex issues, and support for accuracy and compliance across Medicaid, Medicare Part D, 340B, VA/FSS, and other applicable government programs.
