Computer Aided Design Engineer

We're hiring: CAD Design Engineer (Entry Level / Fresher) at Global Industrial Corporation (India)

Global Industrial Corporation is an ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016 and CE certified exporer of precision machined parts, sheet metal components, castings, forgings, rubber/plastic components and gears for customers across Europe.
We're looking for a full-time CAD Design Engineer to join our engineering team.
Responsibilities:
- Work with customer 3D files (STEP, IGES, SolidWorks, NX) and prepare them for manufacturing
- Create 2D manufacturing drawings with tolerances (ISO 2768, GD&T)
- Prepare flat patterns and DXF files for laser cutting
- Design welding jigs, fixtures and check gauges
- Support costing and process planning with accurate part data
- Coordinate with production and quality teams
Requirements:
- Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering
- 0-2 years of experience (freshers welcome)
- Good working knowledge of SolidWorks; Siemens NX is a plus
- Ability to read and make engineering drawings
- Basic knowledge of sheet metal, machining and welding
- Careful with detail and eager to learn
