What you’ll achieve
In this position as Principle Engineer/Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for the complete and detailed design of rack-based compute, cloud and storage solutions. The design must consider requirements from various and often competing sources which include the Customer, the Integration Partner, Hardware and Logistics, all while applying Industry Standards and Dell Best Practices. The Rack Engineer will assume life cycle ownership of individual projects which include Requirements Discovery, Concept & Design, and Physical Build Sustaining.

Essential Requirements
Knowledge of design for manufacturing and serviceability for rack server.
Ability to visualize and implement conceptual layouts to avoid potential conflicts and ensure maximum serviceability.
Strong understanding of fundamental electrical principles related to power management in a data center environment.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of server hardware, networking equipment, PDU, UPS.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
