Position Details
Contract Duration: Approximately 6 months; extension is not guaranteed.
Openings: 1
Work Arrangement: Fully remote.
Working Hours: Must be able to work hours compatible with Central or Eastern business hours.
Maximum Bill Rate: $78/hour on W-2.
Essential Technical Requirements
Candidates must demonstrate hands-on experience in both of the following areas:
Drupal Development: Practical coding and development experience, preferably with Drupal 10 or Drupal 11.
Acquia Cloud: Direct, hands-on experience working within the Acquia Cloud environment.
Before submitting a candidate, verify what they have personally developed using Drupal and the specific tasks they have performed in Acquia Cloud. Drupal content editing, administrative experience alone, or general cloud experience is not sufficient.
Recent Drupal 10 or Drupal 11 development experience is strongly preferred, with particular emphasis on Drupal 11. Candidates with older Drupal experience must be able to demonstrate how their skills remain current and relevant.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong preference for Drupal 11 experience.
Experience with Drupal upgrades or migrations is beneficial but secondary to hands-on Drupal development and Acquia Cloud experience.
Strong PHP development skills are a plus. The priority is demonstrated Drupal coding ability rather than a separate minimum-years requirement for PHP.
Drupal or Acquia certifications are not required.
The environment is believed to be Acquia Cloud Classic, but this is yet to be confirmed. Classic-specific experience should not be treated as a mandatory requirement.
Maintenance and After-Hours Expectations
Occasional evening, overnight, or weekend maintenance may be required.
Frequency: Expected to be fewer than five occasions over the six-month contract, although this is not guaranteed.
Potential Time Window: Maintenance may begin around 9:00 p.m. and finish around 2:00–3:00 a.m., depending on the change. The original window was midnight to 5:00 a.m.
Time Zone: The exact time zone for maintenance windows still needs confirmation.
Weekend Work: Possible, but may be avoidable depending on the maintenance schedule.
Overtime: Not expected. Working hours will be adjusted within the same week, and the client is comfortable with an agreed later start the following morning when needed.
Candidates should be informed of these expectations before submission to ensure availability and alignment.

Format: 30-minute Zoom interview with the client.
Recruiter Screening Priorities
Before submitting a profile, confirm:
What Drupal modules, features, or functionality the candidate has personally developed.
Which Drupal versions they have worked with, particularly Drupal 10 or 11.
What hands-on tasks they have performed in Acquia Cloud.
Whether they can accommodate the required business hours and occasional after-hours maintenance.
Their availability for the six-month contract and acceptance of the $78/hour W-2 maximum bill rate.
