Affy Parenterals is a certified pharmaceutical manufacturing company established 25 years ago with a vision to become India’s renowned healthcare organisation. Going forward, we are planning to diversify in the agriculture sector. The aim is to produce a variety of 50 different vegetables and fruits, including exotic crops as well. In the first phase, we are starting with 50 acres of protected soilless(cocopeat) cultivation and moving to 100 acres of cultivation by the end of the first year itself. The goal is to reach 500 acres of protected cultivation within 3 years in multiple states. Along with this, we are working on producing around 2 million kgs of fish per annum in a Recirculatory Aquaculture System (RAS) in Haryana.
Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Agronomist located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The role involves conducting research, analyzing soil science data, developing agricultural practices, advising on plant nutrition, and managing fertigation and irrigation systems in soilless cultivation(cocopeat). The Agronomist should know the recipes for nutrition to be provided to different vegetables and will also work to improve crop production and ensure sustainable agricultural practices.
Qualifications
Skills in Soil Science and Plant Nutrition
Experience in Fertigation and Irrigation management
Strong Research skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
