AI-Assisted Full-Stack Developer

About the Role
SkyTerra Group is looking for a resourceful, hands-on AI-Assisted Full-Stack Developer to help build, improve, and maintain our application infrastructure, internal tools, and platform functionality.
We're looking for someone who combines real software development experience with a modern, AI-assisted approach to coding. You should be comfortable using tools like Claude, OpenAI Codex, Gemini, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms to accelerate development while maintaining code quality, reliability, and security.
This is a practical, execution-focused role. You'll work with existing applications and GitHub repositories, troubleshoot technical issues, implement new features, and help turn ideas into working solutions.
You don't need to be a senior software architect, but you should have a solid understanding of how applications work and the ability to independently investigate problems, write and modify code, and deliver tested functionality.
We're particularly interested in developers who embrace AI-assisted development or "vibe coding" workflows while understanding that AI-generated code still requires thoughtful review, testing, and debugging.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development: Build, enhance, and maintain application features, dashboards, and internal tools.
Infrastructure Support: Help improve existing application infrastructure, performance, and reliability.
GitHub & Codebase Management: Work within existing GitHub repositories, understand project structures, manage branches, and submit clean, well-documented changes.
Debugging & Troubleshooting: Identify, investigate, and resolve bugs, errors, and application performance issues.
AI-Assisted Development: Leverage AI coding tools to accelerate development without compromising code quality or security.
Integrations & Automation: Support API integrations, third-party services, workflows, and data synchronization between systems.
Internal Tools & Dashboards: Develop and improve reporting dashboards, trackers, administrative tools, and other operational solutions.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Test functionality, review changes, and ensure new features work correctly before deployment or handoff.
Development Efficiency: Help reduce the internal team's development workload by independently managing assigned tasks and delivering practical solutions.
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in software development, application development, or full-stack development.
Hands-on experience using AI coding tools such as Claude, Codex, Gemini, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms.
Experience working with GitHub repositories, including understanding existing codebases, making changes, and managing code updates.
Ability to read, write, modify, and troubleshoot code independently.
Working knowledge of frontend and backend development concepts, APIs, databases, and application integrations.
Ability to diagnose technical issues and implement practical, reliable solutions.
Experience testing and validating code before submitting completed work.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clear communication.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and provide updates on progress.
Willingness to learn unfamiliar tools, frameworks, and technologies as needed.
Nice to Have
Experience building SaaS applications or web-based platforms.
Familiarity with automation tools, AI agents, and AI-powered workflows.
Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations.
Experience improving existing applications rather than only building projects from scratch.
Familiarity with cloud services, deployment workflows, and database management.
Experience building internal business tools, CRM integrations, or reporting dashboards.

Trial Project & Long-Term Opportunity
We'll likely begin with a small paid trial project to evaluate your technical capabilities, communication, problem-solving approach, and ability to work within our existing development environment.
Successful candidates may have the opportunity to transition into an ongoing freelance or contract role, supporting additional development projects and platform improvements.
