Role Description The PCB CAM Engineer will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and optimizing PCB manufacturing data using CAM tools to ensure accurate and manufacturable designs. Day-to-day tasks include importing and validating customer design files, performing DFM checks, generating outputs such as Gerber, drill, and fabrication files, and coordinating with design and production teams to resolve technical issues. The role involves close collaboration with engineering, quality, and manufacturing stakeholders to meet performance, cost, and delivery requirements. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gandhinagar, requiring regular presence at the facility to support production timelines and address real-time technical challenges.
Qualifications
Relevant skills such as PCB CAM tool proficiency (e.g., UCAM, GENESIS or similar), understanding of DFM/DFT, and knowledge of PCB fabrication processes are beneficial.
A diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical, or related engineering fields, along with prior PCB CAM or PCB design experience, is preferred.
Attention to detail, ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications, effective communication, and teamwork skills are important.
