Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Presales System Engineer ELV role based in Mumbai. The role involves working closely with the sales team to understand client requirements, design ELV (Extra Low Voltage) solutions, and prepare technical proposals, BOQs, and system architectures. The Presales System Engineer will conduct site surveys, participate in client meetings and presentations, and provide technical clarifications throughout the sales cycle. Responsibilities include evaluating RFPs and tenders, aligning solutions with industry standards and best practices, and coordinating with internal engineering and project teams to ensure solution feasibility. The role also involves staying current on ELV technologies and vendor offerings to recommend optimal solutions that meet client needs and organizational objectives.
Qualifications
Strong Systems Engineering and Systems Design skills for developing and validating ELV solutions.
Experience in System Administration and Technical Support to ensure reliable operation of proposed systems.
Ability in Troubleshooting and Systems Engineering to resolve technical issues during presales and handover phases.
Knowledge of ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, networking, and BMS is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working with RFPs, tenders, BOQs, and solution documentation in a presales or technical consulting role.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple opportunities, and work on-site in Mumbai.
