Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technician role based in the Pune Division. The Technician will support installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and/or electrical systems, following established procedures and safety guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities may include inspecting equipment, performing routine servicing, troubleshooting issues, and documenting work performed. The role involves working with hand tools and test instruments, assisting senior engineers or supervisors, and ensuring that work areas remain organized and compliant with company standards. The Technician will also coordinate with team members to meet project timelines and provide clear status updates on assigned tasks.
Qualifications
Strong practical aptitude for mechanical or electrical work, including use of standard tools and basic diagnostic equipment.
Ability to read and follow technical instructions, manuals, and work orders accurately.
Attention to safety practices, hazard awareness, and willingness to follow company safety policies at all times.
Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate on-site with colleagues and supervisors.
Basic computer literacy for recording maintenance activities, completing reports, and accessing documentation.
Relevant vocational training, diploma, or certification in engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related technical field is preferred.
Prior experience in a technician, maintenance, or field service role within an engineering or manufacturing environment is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in the Pune Division and adapt to changing project requirements and schedules.
