Role Description The SharePoint Senior Developer / Architect contract role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced SharePoint solutions aligned with client and product requirements. This hybrid position is based in Thane, with flexibility for partial work from home, and involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to architect SharePoint environments, implement custom workflows, and optimize information management. Day-to-day activities include configuring SharePoint sites and components, developing custom applications, integrating with other enterprise systems, and ensuring performance, security, and scalability. The role also involves troubleshooting complex SharePoint issues, guiding best practices, documenting technical solutions, and mentoring junior developers when needed. The professional in this role will engage in requirement analysis, solution design, and continuous improvement of SharePoint-based products and internal tools.
Qualifications
Strong SharePoint expertise, including experience with SharePoint architecture, site collection design, and solution deployment.
Hands-on skills in SharePoint Designer and InfoPath for creating workflows, forms, and customized business solutions.
Experience in SharePoint Administration, including configuration, permissions management, performance monitoring, and security controls.
Solid background in Software Development with proficiency in relevant languages and frameworks (e.g., C#, .NET, JavaScript, REST APIs) for custom SharePoint development and integrations.
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable SharePoint solutions, with strong analysis, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Experience working in hybrid environments and coordinating with distributed teams; prior work in SaaS or product-based settings is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, version control, and CI/CD pipelines for SharePoint projects; knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure) is beneficial.
