Job Summary
The Senior Test Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing test solutions for optical transceiver products, ensuring product quality, performance, and manufacturing readiness throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, set up, and maintain test systems and automated test solutions for optical transceiver products
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and validation procedures, and document test results.
Analyze test data, identify product or test-related issues, and work with cross-functional teams on root cause analysis and issue resolution.
Support new product introduction (NPI) by providing test strategy, technical guidance, and engineering support from development through production ramp.
Continuously improve test methods, processes, and automation to enhance test efficiency, accuracy, stability, and coverage.
Develop and maintain test specifications, technical documentation, and operating procedures.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Optical Communication, Automation, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in optical transceiver, optical communication, or related product testing.
Strong knowledge of optical transceiver fundamentals, test methodologies, and industry standards such as IEEE and MSA.
Hands-on experience with optical and high-speed test equipment, such as optical power meters, optical spectrum analyzers, BERTs, and oscilloscopes.
Hands-on programming experience with at least one language such as Python, C#, or LabVIEW for test software and automation development.
Experience with test fixture design and automated test system integration.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Good written and verbal English skills, with the ability to understand technical documentation in English.
