Executive Manager (Finance Services Department) - Contract

[What the role is]
Working in the Finance Department, you will be responsible for the following:

Perform finance and accounting functions, including but not restricted to accounting for revenue collection, accounts payable, month and year-end closing, fixed assets, fees and charges costing, bank reconciliations and prepare management reports
Review of work processes for system enhancement and internal controls
Lead in the preparation, consolidation, and submission of periodic returns
Liaise with departments/divisions and ministries/agencies on returns and submissions
Provide advice and support on financial matters
Prepare audit schedules for statutory and other audits
Attend to requests or enquiries from external and internal customers
[What we are looking for]
This role might be for you if you possess the following qualities:
A Degree in Accountancy or related discipline with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
Independent, hardworking, positive, and highly motivated, flexible, and resourceful
Meticulous, able to exercise sound judgement and work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A good team player and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Proficiency in MS Office applications
Organised and able to multi-task
