Our growing technology function is looking for a Senior Java Developer with practical expertise in artificial intelligence. You will help transform ambitious ideas into dependable, scalable software alongside a team committed to quality and progress. We promote technical craftsmanship, open collaboration, and the meaningful adoption of new tools. In this role, you will influence core systems while broadening your experience in AI-enabled product development
Responsibilities
Build resilient software systems that balance strategic business goals with sound technical design
Bring useful perspectives to architecture workshops and help determine the implementation path for ongoing work
Partner with specialists across multiple functions to achieve timely and high-quality product delivery
Conduct code reviews and share actionable suggestions that improve readability, quality, and maintainability
Analyze sophisticated defects and drive corrective work through to successful resolution
Help junior team members develop stronger capabilities through mentoring and hands-on support
Join planning discussions to establish work boundaries, assess complexity, and forecast delivery timelines
Monitor changes in the technology landscape and incorporate valuable new approaches into established routines
Create clear technical records covering design rationale, development processes, and critical implementation decisions
Work directly with stakeholders to define success criteria and confirm that delivery fulfills their requirements
Requirements
Three or more years of relevant industry experience in professional software development
Practical awareness of AI technologies and theoretical principles that can enhance software engineering solutions
Advanced grasp of Java Core features and object-oriented software design methodology
Experience developing production applications with Java 8 language functionality
Strong Spring Boot skills for implementing and supporting backend application services
Background working with cloud resources, applications, or services in Microsoft Azure
Familiarity with AWS capabilities for administering cloud infrastructure and application deployments
Knowledge of CI/CD automation for building reliable integration, validation, and delivery pipelines
Competence in SQL for organizing, retrieving, and managing relational database information
Demonstrated experience applying microservices principles to distributed system development
Experience creating RESTful interfaces and connecting applications through REST API integrations
Ability to use unit testing practices to validate behavior and maintain dependable code quality
Understanding of NoSQL database solutions appropriate for Java technology stacks
B2-level English proficiency or higher for written and verbal workplace communication
