We’re Hiring: AWS Network Security Engineer
We are looking for an experienced AWS Network Security Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in AWS networking, cloud security, network segmentation, firewall management, and security monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement secure AWS network isolation for recovery environments, ensuring segregation from production and enterprise networks.
Configure and manage AWS VPCs, Transit Gateway (TGW), route tables, VPC attachments, and Route 53.
Manage FortiGate firewalls, AWS Security Groups, Network ACLs (NACLs), and egress controls.
Implement network segmentation, least-privilege access, and secure remote-access procedures.
Integrate AWS infrastructure and application logs with SIEM solutions for monitoring and incident investigation.
Support EDR, CSPM, vulnerability management, and cloud workload protection.
Perform network isolation testing, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and maintain technical documentation.
Collaborate with cloud infrastructure, security operations, and disaster recovery teams.
Mandatory Skills:
AWS Networking and Cloud Security
VPC, Transit Gateway, Route Tables, and VPC Attachments
Amazon Route 53 (Public and Private Hosted Zones)
FortiGate Firewall Configuration and Troubleshooting
Security Groups, NACLs, and Egress Controls
Network Segmentation and Isolation
SIEM Integration and Log Forwarding
Familiarity with EDR, CSPM, and Vulnerability Management Tools
Experience securing enterprise or regulated workloads
Preferred Skills:
Disaster Recovery / Cyber Recovery / Isolated Recovery Environments
AWS CloudTrail, GuardDuty, and Security Hub
Zero-Trust Security and Break-Glass Access Procedures
Terraform or Python for Infrastructure Automation
Primary Responsibility: Own the setup, implementation, and validation of AWS network isolation and associated security controls for recovery environments.
