Role Description The IT Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems supporting both SR University and SR Medical College and Hospital. This includes managing campus networks, servers, and end-user devices; ensuring reliable access to academic and hospital information systems; and coordinating data backup, security, and disaster recovery procedures. The role involves supervising IT support staff, handling incident and request management, and collaborating with academic, administrative, and clinical teams to align technology solutions with institutional needs. The IT Manager will evaluate and deploy new tools, manage vendor relationships, and maintain documentation and compliance with relevant policies and standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ghaziabad.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in IT infrastructure management, including network administration, server management, and systems monitoring.
Candidates should possess skills in IT security and data protection, covering user access controls, backup and recovery, and basic cybersecurity practices.
Candidates should possess skills in user support and operations, such as helpdesk management, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and incident resolution.
Candidates should possess skills in IT planning and coordination, including project management, vendor coordination, and documentation of IT processes.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, ITIL) are an advantage.
Demonstrated ability to lead IT teams, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and work effectively in an educational and healthcare environment.
Experience in managing IT systems in universities, hospitals, or similar large institutions is highly beneficial.
