R & D Specialist (f/m/d)

Responsibilities:
Manufacture and characterization of samples, specimens, and products in the laboratory as part of research and development projects, in compliance with environmental and occupational safety procedures
Independent planning, organization, execution, documentation, and evaluation of experiments as part of research and development projects at the laboratory and pilot plant scales, as well as the presentation of the resulting experimental results
Providing technical support in the development and optimization of new test procedures and methods, documenting compliance with environmental and occupational safety guidelines, and monitoring workflows in the pilot plant
Sampling and packaging for external and internal customers, as well as performing tasks in the testing laboratory
Analytical testing and evaluation of raw materials and products with regard to quality, suitability, and approval criteria
Continuously gathering information on product trends, as well as advising and supporting project managers
Qualifications:
Completed professional training as a chemical technician, chemical laboratory technician or comparable training
Several years of experience in practical laboratory work, preferably in the production and finishing of nonwovens desirable
Knowledge of HSE and especially the Hazardous Substances Ordinance
Confident use of all common MS Office programs and SAP is an advantage
Very good written and spoken German and English skills
Hands-on mentality, ability to work in a team and assertiveness
