Key Experience Required
1. Shore Experience: Prior experience in a technical superintendent/ship manager role
2. Dry Dockings: Hands-on experience planning and executing dry dock projects. Please mention how many completed
3. Inspections: Conducted Annual Surveys, Flag State Surveys, Class Surveys
4. Audits: Experience with ISM/ISPS/MLC audits and take-over audits for vessels
5. Sailing Background: Total years sailed as Chief Engineer or 2nd Engineer on offshore/merchant vessels
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical management & maintenance planning for assigned offshore ships
2. Budgeting, dry dock & repair specifications, yard supervision
3. Liaison with Class, Flag, charterers, and vendors
4. Ensure compliance with ISM, ISPS, MARPOL, and other regulations
5. Support crew with technical issues and performance monitoring
Qualification
2nd Mate or 3rd Engineer
2+ year seagoing experience
