Your Role
People leadership
Lead and develop the Ansan Manufacturing Engineering team, setting clear expectations for safety, quality, delivery and accountability.
Build technical capability through coaching, cross-training, knowledge transfer and backup coverage for critical activities.
Manufacturing readiness and production release
Own the site-level production release decision, ensuring each order is safe, compliant, buildable, approved and traceable before production handoff.
Define and improve release gates covering customer scope, engineering and manufacturing data, approvals, documentation and final readiness.
Apply approved Product Master, Design Master, Option Matrix, Product Rules and delegated variation limits correctly to each order.
Stop or escalate incomplete, unsafe, non-compliant or technically ambiguous orders.
Support standard, configured, ETO, CTO, reorder, conversion, rework and first-time-build orders, as applicable.
Configuration and data integrity
Ensure alignment of customer scope, order configuration, BOMs, routings, material master data, production versions, drawings and controlled documents.
Control revisions, approvals, effective dates, engineering changes and part or serial traceability across SAP, PDM/PLM, Manage and comparable systems.
Prevent configuration drift, unauthorized changes and mismatches between released data and actual production requirements.
Factory support and improvement
Ensure the Manufacturing Release Package (Production Order Package) is complete, approved, controlled and traceable before release.
Coordinate Production Readiness Reviews, factory technical support and as-built traceability with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, EHS, Procurement, Commercial and Supply Chain.
Lead NCR, production failure and line-stop resolution through containment, root cause analysis, CAPA and corrective action; control ECRs and temporary deviations.
Use standard work, Lean Six Sigma and manufacturing digitization to reduce release delays, rework, aging orders and recurring issues.
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.
10+ years of relevant manufacturing, process or production engineering experience, including 3+ years of people management.
Direct experience with production order release or equivalent manufacturing release governance, customer-specific order configuration and manufacturing documentation.
Experience with BOM, routing, revisions, approvals, configuration management, CAPA, root cause analysis and as-built traceability.
Working knowledge of SAP, PDM/PLM or comparable systems; ability to review manufacturing drawings and relevant technical outputs.
Strong technical leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills, with a clear commitment to quality, safety and compliance.
Business-level English communication skills, including participation in global meetings and collaboration with international stakeholders.
Experience in ETO/CTO environments, configured products, first-time builds, or other complex engineered-to-order manufacturing environments preferred.
Experience with semiconductor equipment, chemical or specialty gas systems, process skid systems, or other complex engineered products preferred.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) certification and project leadership experience preferred.
