We are looking for a skilled C/C++ Developer with hands-on U2L (Unix-to-Linux) migration experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in C/C++, excellent debugging and performance optimization capabilities, and practical experience migrating C/C++ applications from Unix-based environments to Linux platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, debug, and enhance applications using C/C++.
Perform Unix-to-Linux (U2L) migration of existing C/C++ applications.
Analyze application compatibility issues and resolve platform-specific code and dependency challenges.
Debug complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
Optimize application performance, memory usage, and resource utilization.
Write and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts for automation, builds, and deployment activities.
Use Git for source code management, version control, and collaborative development.
Conduct application testing and validation to ensure functionality and stability after migration.
Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful migration and deployment.
Mandatory Skills
Strong programming experience in C and C++.
Hands-on experience in U2L migration of C/C++ applications.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Experience in performance optimization and profiling.
Good knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
Hands-on experience with Git and version control.
Understanding of compilation, linking, build processes, and platform compatibility issues.
Preferred Skills
Experience resolving Unix-to-Linux portability issues.
Knowledge of memory management, multithreading, and system-level programming.
Familiarity with Linux development tools, compilers, debuggers, and build utilities.
Experience in application migration testing and post-migration performance validation.
