Role: Data Modeller + Data Analyst
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Data Modeller + Data Analyst who can bridge data
modelling and business analytics. The role will involve approximately 50% data modelling and
50% data analysis, with a strong focus on building scalable data structures, defining semantic
models, developing KPIs, and translating data into actionable business insights.
Key Responsibilities
 Design and develop robust conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned
with business requirements.
 Define and maintain data architecture, data structures, relationships, and
business rules.
 Build and manage semantic models to enable consistent and reliable reporting
and analytics.
 Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate
them into analytical solutions.
 Define, develop, and maintain business KPIs and metrics, ensuring consistency
across reporting and analytics.
 Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and business
insights.
 Translate complex datasets into meaningful recommendations and actionable
insights for business teams.
 Collaborate with Data Engineers, BI Developers, Architects, and business
stakeholders to ensure data models support reporting and analytical needs.
 Conduct data profiling, validation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and
consistency.
 Document data models, KPIs, definitions, and analytical methodologies.
 Support the development and enhancement of BI dashboards and reporting
solutions where required.
Required Skills & Experience
 8–12 years of experience in Data Modelling, Data Analytics, BI, or related data
roles.
 Strong understanding of data modelling concepts and data architecture.
 Hands-on experience with semantic modelling and BI/reporting environments.
 Strong SQL and data analysis capabilities.
 Experience defining and managing KPIs, metrics, and business definitions.
 Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into data
and analytical solutions.
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work eƯectively with both
technical and business stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate Profile
A candidate who is equally comfortable designing the underlying data model and analysing
the data on top of it—someone who can move from “How should the data be structured?” to
“What does the data tell us about the business?”
