Responsibilities, aka, what we’d like you to deliver :
1. Borrowings, Investments & Forex
Manage debt servicing and day-to-day operations of the company’s borrowing portfolio.
Execute and manage foreign exchange (forex) and derivative transactions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, lenders, and key participants in debt, money, and forex markets.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate banking facilities and credit lines to optimize funding costs.
Manage the treasury investment portfolio across banks, mutual funds, and other money market instruments.
Ensure 100% compliance with bank covenants, RBI guidelines, and applicable banking regulations.
Review and manage Letters of Credit (LCs) and Bank Guarantees (BGs).
2. Treasury Risk Management, Policies & Compliance
Monitor market-related variables and assess their impact on the company’s treasury risk profile.
Formulate, review, and update treasury policies, procedures, and risk management strategies.
Track and ensure compliance with Internal Financial Controls (IFC) requirements.
Identify treasury-related risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
3. Cash Flow Forecasting & Treasury Operations
Lead the cash flow forecasting process in collaboration with FP&A, Business Finance, Tax, and other cross-functional teams.
Drive automation of treasury operations and develop standardized SOPs for key processes.
Lead initiatives such as electronic Bank Reconciliation Statements (e-BRS), Treasury Management System (TMS) implementation, MT940 reporting dashboards, and float optimization.
Oversee month-end treasury activities, including BRS reviews, MIS preparation, accruals, bank charge tracking, and TDS reconciliations.
Prepare the monthly treasury performance deck for CFO reviews.
Design and implement end-to-end solutions for cash collection and Cash Management Services (CMS).
Manage corporate and commercial cards for vendor payments and explore working capital optimization opportunities.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategic Initiatives
Partner with FP&A and Accounting teams on Annual Operating Plans (AOP), variance analysis, board notes, and presentations.
Drive the scale-up of supply chain finance initiatives to optimize working capital and improve liquidity.
Collaborate closely with the Bank Alliances team to evaluate, strategize, and onboard new payment gateway (PG) and Cash Management Services (CMS) partners.
Identify opportunities to improve treasury efficiency, reduce transaction costs, and strengthen working capital management.
Are you who we're searching for
7–10+ years of relevant experience in Treasury, preferably within a fast-paced organization.
Strong experience in front-office treasury operations, capital markets, fundraising, and debt structuring.
Proven expertise in managing borrowings, banking relationships, forex transactions, treasury investments, and cash flow forecasting.
Strong understanding of banking regulations, RBI guidelines, bank covenants, and treasury risk management.
Experience in treasury automation, process optimization, and working capital management.
Strong stakeholder management, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
