Senior Data Analyst

We have partnered with our client in their search for a Power BI Developer with strong SQL, Alteryx, Python, Databricks, and Power BI experience to design, develop, and communicate impactful data insights. This role balances technical development with stakeholder-facing presentation, requiring both analytical expertise and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports
Write efficient, well-structured SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data
Use Python for data manipulation, automation, and advanced analytics
Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into actionable insights
Spend approximately 50% of time building and enhancing reports and 50% presenting findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across reporting solutions
Document data models, report logic, and development standards
Continuously improve reporting processes and visualization best practices
Required Qualifications
3-5 years of professional experience as a Power BI Developer, BI Developer, or similar role
Strong expertise in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and visualization best practices)
Proficiency in SQL for querying and transforming large datasets
Hands-on experience programming in Python for data analysis or automation
Proven ability to present technical findings clearly to non-technical audiences
Experience working with relational databases and data warehouses
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Snowflake)
Familiarity with data governance, security, and performance optimization
Prior experience supporting executive or client-facing reporting
Soft Skills

Ability to balance technical development with business engagement
Strong collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities
