Role Description This is a full-time Service Engineer role based in Mumbai with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work-from-home flexibility. The Service Engineer will perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, troubleshooting faults, and providing timely field service and technical support to customers. The role involves documenting service activities, coordinating with internal teams for parts and upgrades, and clearly communicating findings and recommendations to customers. The Service Engineer will also support preventive maintenance plans, adhere to company safety standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of service processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose and resolve equipment and system issues efficiently.
Candidates should possess solid Field Service and Maintenance & Repair experience to manage on-site installations, preventive checks, and corrective actions.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams, explain technical information clearly, and prepare accurate service reports.
Relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, electronics, or related field) is preferred.
Ability to read technical manuals and schematics, use diagnostic tools, and follow safety procedures is beneficial.
Prior experience in industrial equipment servicing or a similar role is an advantage.
Willingness to travel locally as required and work in a hybrid setup from Mumbai.
