Rust and JavaScript Developer

Klario LLC is hiring a long-term, full-time developer to work directly with the founder (no agency).
Fixed monthly rate: up to $1,700/month for 40 h/week, paid monthly. 100% remote.
We run a web platform with a Rust backend service, a Node.js backend and an Electron desktop app. We need one developer who owns all three and keeps them running and improving.
Core skills (must have):
- Rust in production (async, tokio / hyper or similar)
- Strong JavaScript / Node.js: browser internals, DOM, fetch/XHR, WebSocket
- Web scraping and browser automation (Puppeteer / Playwright, sessions, cookies)
- Electron desktop apps (Windows and macOS)
What you'll do:
- Maintain and improve the Rust service and the Node.js backend
- Keep integrations working when websites change (sessions, login flows, health checks)
- Fix bugs and ship features in the Electron app from our Figma specs
Nice to have: Linux servers (Ubuntu, nginx, PM2, Docker), Windows/macOS code signing.
Terms:
- Full-time (40 h/week), fixed monthly payment up to $1,700
- The monthly payment covers all work requested during those hours. No extra charges unless agreed in writing beforehand.
- Weekly report of hours and tasks every Friday
- All code in our GitHub from day one
Process: short call, then a paid test task (2-3 days), then a 1-month trial.
