Role Description The Learning and Development Specialist at Cultura Podcast will design, deliver, and refine learning experiences that support the growth of team members and contributors. This part-time, remote role includes assessing learning needs, developing training plans, and creating engaging materials such as workshops, guides, and digital learning modules tailored to podcast production and related functions. The specialist will coordinate virtual training sessions, track participation and outcomes, and adjust programs based on feedback and performance data. The role also involves partnering with podcast leaders and project teams to align learning initiatives with content strategy and organizational goals, while promoting an inclusive, continuous-learning culture.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Training & Development skills, including experience planning, delivering, and evaluating learning programs.
Candidates should possess Learning Management capabilities, such as using learning management systems or tools to organize, track, and report on training activities.
Candidates should possess Instructional Design skills, including creating structured, engaging learning content and resources for virtual or blended environments.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly, facilitate discussions, and adapt messaging to different audiences.
Candidates should possess Coaching skills, including providing constructive feedback, supporting individual development, and encouraging learner accountability.
Candidates should ideally have experience with digital media or podcasting environments, familiarity with remote collaboration tools, and a demonstrated commitment to inclusive learning practices.
Relevant education or certification in learning and development, education, HR, or a related field is beneficial, along with prior experience in a similar role.
