Role Description The Design Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. The Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing process equipment and systems, preparing detailed engineering drawings and 3D models, and selecting appropriate materials and components for mechanical and electrical aspects of equipment. Daily tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting product customization for client requirements, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and safety regulations. The role also involves reviewing and optimizing existing designs for performance, manufacturability, and cost, preparing technical documentation and specifications, and providing engineering support during fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Design Engineering and Product Design.
Candidates should possess strong skills in Mechanical Engineering and Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering relevant to industrial equipment and systems.
Relevant bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related engineering discipline.
Experience in process or equipment design for pharmaceutical, chemical, food, or cosmetic industries is an advantage.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, standards, and technical specifications, and to work with manufacturing teams.
Proficiency in common CAD software, basic simulation or analysis tools, and familiarity with quality and safety norms.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
