About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and quality-driven QA Analyst with 1.5–3 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in manual testing along with hands-on exposure to test automation or AI-assisted testing using Playwright, or demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and contribute to modern automation and AI-driven testing initiatives.
You will work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Managers, and DevOps teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality enterprise software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Review, analyze, and understand business and functional requirements.
Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
Perform functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing.
Identify, document, prioritize, track, and verify software defects throughout the defect lifecycle.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to ensure product quality.
Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using modern automation frameworks.
Participate in CI/CD pipelines and test automation initiatives to improve release quality.
Work with Playwright and AI-powered testing tools to build and improve intelligent test automation solutions.
Validate AI-enabled product features and ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of AI-driven functionalities.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and quality standards.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, requirement discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
Prepare test execution reports, quality metrics, and release readiness reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance.
Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and defect management processes.
Experience in manual testing, functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and UAT support.
Hands-on experience with automation testing or willingness to work on automation initiatives.
Exposure to Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks.
Basic understanding of API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
Familiarity with SQL for database validation and data verification.
Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a cross-functional Agile environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Exposure to AI-powered testing tools and Generative AI use cases in Quality Assurance.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
Experience testing enterprise SaaS applications, workflow automation platforms, or GRC products.
Understanding of performance, security, or API testing concepts.
ISTQB or equivalent software testing certification is an added advantage.
