Snapzo is building the technology infrastructure for one of the world's largest yet most fragmented industries—professional photography.
Today, booking a photographer is still dependent on referrals, inconsistent pricing, delayed responses, and unpredictable experiences. Our vision is to make professional photography as simple, trusted, and seamless as booking a cab.
We are rebuilding Snapzo and are looking for our founding engineering team to help shape the next generation of the platform. This is not a typical developer role. This is an opportunity to build a product from the ground up and become part of the company's long-term journey.
About the Role
We are looking for a Founding Full Stack Engineer (Mobile & Backend) who can take ownership of the complete product lifecycle—from understanding an existing codebase to building new features, fixing production issues, integrating APIs, testing, deploying, and continuously improving the platform.
Our current technology stack consists of:
• Native Android (Kotlin)
• Native iOS (Swift)
• PHP (CodeIgniter) Backend
As part of Snapzo 2.0, we are rebuilding our mobile applications using Flutter while leveraging and improving the existing backend wherever possible.
You will work directly with the founders and CTO to build a scalable product capable of serving millions of users.
Key Responsibilities
• Understand the existing Android, iOS, and PHP backend codebase.
• Build and maintain Flutter applications for both Customer and Professional users.
• Integrate and consume REST APIs.
• Understand and improve existing backend APIs where required.
• Build scalable, maintainable, and production-ready features.
• Integrate Firebase Authentication, Push Notifications, Google Maps, SMS, and Payment Gateways.
• Debug application issues, identify root causes, and implement permanent solutions.
• Participate in application architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
• Test, deploy, monitor, and maintain production applications.
• Collaborate closely with the CTO to build engineering standards and best practices.
Required Skills
• Strong experience with Flutter and Dart.
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture.
• Experience integrating REST APIs.
• Good understanding of backend development.
• Experience working with PHP (CodeIgniter) or willingness to work with an existing PHP backend.
• Good understanding of MySQL databases.
• Experience with Firebase services.
• Experience integrating Payment Gateways, Google Maps, and third-party SDKs.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Git version control.
• Experience publishing Android and iOS applications.
Good to Have
• Native Android (Kotlin) experience.
• Native iOS (Swift) experience.
• Python experience.
• DevOps or cloud deployment experience.
• Docker.
• CI/CD pipelines.
• AWS, GCP, or Azure exposure.

Experience
• 3–6 years of relevant software development experience.
