Civil Engineer / Chemical Engineer

Role Description
We are looking for a Civil Engineer / Chemical Engineer to support engineering design, technical analysis, project implementation, and process optimization across engineering operations. The role involves applying engineering principles to develop practical solutions, improve operational efficiency, ensure compliance with technical standards, and contribute to the successful delivery of engineering projects.
Key responsibilities include reviewing technical specifications, preparing engineering documentation, evaluating project requirements, and supporting the development of design solutions. For civil engineering activities, responsibilities may include assessing construction plans, reviewing structural and infrastructure drawings, coordinating project activities, monitoring construction quality, and ensuring compliance with applicable building codes and safety standards. For chemical engineering activities, responsibilities may include analyzing chemical processes, evaluating process performance, supporting equipment selection, monitoring production parameters, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, product quality, and resource utilization. The role also involves conducting technical assessments, interpreting engineering data, identifying potential risks, and recommending corrective actions. The successful candidate will collaborate with project teams, contractors, technical specialists, and other stakeholders to resolve engineering challenges and maintain project requirements. Additional responsibilities include preparing technical reports, supporting inspections and testing, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to quality assurance, environmental compliance, workplace safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.
Strong understanding of engineering principles, technical specifications, design methods, and project implementation processes.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, engineering calculations, process diagrams, and project documentation.
Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD.Pro, Aspen Plus, MATLAB, or other relevant discipline-specific tools.
Understanding of quality assurance, risk assessment, workplace safety, and applicable engineering standards.
Knowledge of construction materials, structural systems, and infrastructure planning for civil engineering-related activities.
Knowledge of chemical processes, material balances, process control, and equipment operations for chemical engineering-related activities.
Ability to analyze technical data, identify operational challenges, and recommend effective engineering solutions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for technical documentation, data analysis, and reporting.
Strong analytical, mathematical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to technical accuracy and professional standards.
