Senior Power BI Developer

Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior BI & Analytics Developer to design, develop, optimize, and support Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, scorecards, and KPI reporting solutions for the Data Platform.
The role involves financial and portfolio analytics, data validation, reporting modernization, production support, and collaboration with business stakeholders, data engineers, and architects.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting solutions.
Translate business requirements, user stories, and KPI definitions into interactive dashboards.
Build and optimize semantic models, measures, calculations, and report-ready datasets.
Validate data relationships, KPI logic, aggregations, and reporting outputs.
Perform data reconciliation, exception analysis, and reporting defect investigation.
Support UAT, business validation, stakeholder demonstrations, and acceptance activities.
Troubleshoot report defects, refresh failures, access issues, and performance problems.
Support deployment, release management, post-deployment validation, and production incidents.
Improve reporting usability, consistency, performance, and self-service analytics.
Maintain technical documentation, KPI catalogs, report specifications, user guides, and support runbooks.
Required Skills & Experience
Core Technical Skills
8+ years of hands on experience in PowerBi developement
Strong hands-on experience in Power BI development and dashboard design.
Semantic modeling, analytical datasets, DAX measures, calculations, and KPI development.
Data visualization, drill-downs, filters, and interactive reporting.
Data validation, reconciliation, and reporting quality controls.
Report performance optimization and refresh troubleshooting.
Power BI Service, deployment, access management, and production support.
Requirements analysis, UAT, defect resolution, and technical documentation.
Domain & Functional Skills
Financial, operational, portfolio, management, or executive reporting.
Understanding of business rules, KPI definitions, and data reconciliation.
Experience working with data engineers, business analysts, data owners, and stakeholders.
Reporting modernization and self-service analytics.
