Role Description The Senior Security Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for safeguarding Valenta’s information systems, networks, and data assets. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls, policies, and procedures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring security events, analyzing logs, responding to incidents, conducting vulnerability assessments, and coordinating remediation activities with IT and business teams. The Senior Security Administrator will manage user access, perform regular audits, oversee security tools and platforms, and support secure configurations for servers, applications, and cloud environments. The role also includes providing security guidance, contributing to risk assessments, delivering user awareness training, and collaborating with global stakeholders to strengthen Valenta’s overall security posture.

Qualifications
Strong expertise in Cybersecurity, including threat analysis, vulnerability management, and incident response.
Demonstrated experience in Network Security, covering firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and secure network architecture.
Solid background in Information Security, including data protection, access control, and compliance with relevant standards.
Proficiency in Security Management, such as policy development, risk assessment, and governance frameworks.
Comprehensive understanding of Security best practices across on-premises and cloud environments.
Hands-on experience with security tools (SIEM, endpoint protection, encryption, identity and access management).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across global and cross-functional teams.
Experience in securing digital transformation or automation-focused environments is an advantage.
