Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer / Draftsman to prepare accurate engineering drawings and technical layouts for electrical infrastructure, industrial electrification, and renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and revise 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
Develop electrical layouts, cable routing drawings, panel layouts, and electrical installation drawings.
Prepare drawings for HT/LT panels, substations, cable trays, earthing systems, and industrial electrical infrastructure.
Assist in preparing single-line diagrams (SLDs), schematic drawings, and electrical layouts as per project requirements.
Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and technical instructions.
Coordinate with project engineers and other departments to incorporate design changes.
Ensure drawings follow project specifications, technical standards, and drawing documentation procedures.
Maintain and update drawing files and revisions.
Required Qualifications & Skills
ITI, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a relevant technical qualification.
Good working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
Understanding of electrical drawings, layouts, and engineering symbols.
Knowledge of HT/LT systems, substations, cable routing, and industrial electrical installations will be preferred.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and good time management.
Ability to work with engineering teams and meet project deadlines.
