About our team
SumUp's Affiliate Marketing team helps small businesses discover our products through a fast-growing network of partners across Europe. That network more than doubled in the past year (+106%), and today we manage over 400 partners. We are part of the performance marketing function and manage partnerships from first outreach through to long-term growth, working closely with our agency, designers, content colleagues and creators.
We're a small team and we're building the operational foundation as we grow. This internship gives you hands-on exposure to how a specialist marketing channel runs day to day: from partner research to campaign activation to influencer projects and reporting.
What you'll do
Support finding and onboarding new partners in an agreed market or segment, using existing playbooks, and help take them from first outreach to their first live promotion.
Keep partner offers, vouchers, creatives and product information sharp and up to date, so partners can promote SumUp with confidence.
Turn briefs into live campaigns with the agency, designers and content colleagues, following tickets from brief to validation.
Help plan and run influencer and creator projects: shortlisting, briefs, tracking links, content checks and results.
Build partner evaluations and monthly reporting, and spot data discrepancies early.
Coordinate partner and campaign handoffs with Finance, Legal and other performance marketing teams.
Find and document small process improvements and automations that make affiliate work clearer and more reliable.
You'll be great for this role if you
Are studying towards, or have recently graduated with, a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
Understand how performance marketing works and why customer journeys and KPIs matter, even if you haven't worked in an affiliate program before.
Enjoy working with spreadsheets and data, can read a routine performance report, and ask sensible questions about what changed and why.
Are organised and dependable: you track your own tasks, meet deadlines and follow things through to the end.
Are curious about new tools and happy to learn platforms such as Impact, GA4 and Tableau.
Spot great creator content and have an opinion on what works on social platforms.
Communicate clearly in English, both in writing and verbally, and can work with partners, agencies, creators and colleagues across different markets.

💰 This is a 6-12 month paid internship with a fixed hourly compensation of €13.9.
