🔧 What You’ll Be Working On
As an AI Backend Engineer, you’ll help design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems while supporting data-driven and AI-powered applications.
Your responsibilities will include:
✅ Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs using Node.js.
✅ Working with MySQL databases, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
✅ Building data pipelines to process high-volume activity data, events, and structured datasets.
✅ Integrating AI/ML capabilities into backend services and production workflows.
✅ Working with AWS infrastructure, including EC2, RDS, S3, and IAM.
✅ Managing CI/CD pipelines, deployments, monitoring, and production debugging.
✅ Improving system performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
✅ Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end product features.
✅ Taking ownership of solutions from technical design and implementation through deployment and monitoring.
🎯 What We’re Looking For
🔹 1–3 years of professional backend development experience, primarily with Node.js.
🔹 Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, and backend architecture.
🔹 Hands-on experience with MySQL and database performance optimization.
🔹 Practical experience with AWS and production deployments.
🔹 Experience building or maintaining data pipelines.
🔹 Exposure to preparing data for analytics or machine learning use cases.
🔹 Understanding of asynchronous processing, event-driven systems, and scalable architectures.
🔹 Strong problem-solving skills, clear communication, and an ownership-driven mindset.
🤖 AI Skills That Will Give You an Edge
⭐ Experience integrating LLM APIs into applications.
⭐ Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, and vector databases.
⭐ Understanding of AI agents, tool calling, and LLM orchestration frameworks.
⭐ Experience with Python or Go for backend services, data processing, or AI/ML integrations.
⭐ Understanding of AI latency, cost optimization, output reliability, and production trade-offs.
