Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Development Lead to lead a dedicated development POD supporting a major U.S. retail client's digital commerce platform.
10+ years in software development, including 6+ years of SFCC experience.
The individual will be responsible for technical execution, sprint delivery, development quality, and coordination with the client's engineering leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of SFCC developers responsible for enhancements, production support, technical debt, and roadmap initiatives.
Work closely with the client's Engineering Manager, Engineering Lead, and Product Owner to review priorities, estimate effort, and plan sprint commitments.
Oversee development across Salesforce Commerce Cloud, including SFCC Business Manager, pipelines, ISML templates, jobs, and integrations.
Provide technical guidance and conduct code reviews.
Ensure development deliverables meet established acceptance criteria and quality standards.
Coordinate sprint ceremonies, technical discussions, and dependency management.
Support production incidents and after-hours deployments.
Participate in knowledge transfer from the incumbent vendor.
Maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.
Monitor sprint productivity, delivery commitments, and quality metrics.
Leverage client-approved AI tools for development, refactoring, documentation, and code reviews.
Important: This is a hands-on technical leadership role, not a project manager position.
Requirements
Required Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).
SFCC Business Manager, pipelines, ISML, and SFCC Jobs.
JavaScript/TypeScript.
ReactJS and React Native.
HTML, CSS/SASS.
REST APIs and integration development.
GitLab or comparable source control and CI/CD experience.
Agile/Scrum delivery experience.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
