SQL Database Administrator

We are looking for a SQL DBA with 3+ years of experience to support and maintain critical database environments for credit card and payment processing applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SQL Server administration, database performance tuning, backup and recovery, and production support.
Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server databases in production and non-production environments.
Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and stored procedures.
Manage database backups, restores, and disaster recovery activities.
Perform database patching, upgrades, and routine maintenance.
Troubleshoot database issues and support incident resolution.
Ensure database security, user access management, and compliance with organizational standards.
Work closely with application, infrastructure, and support teams to ensure high availability of business-critical systems.
Responsibilities
3+ years of SQL Server DBA experience.
Strong knowledge of SQL Server administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Experience with backup/recovery, replication, and high-availability solutions.
Good understanding of database security and access controls.
Experience with monitoring tools and production support processes.
Basic scripting knowledge using PowerShell or SQL scripts.
Qualifications
Experience in Credit Card, Payments, Banking, or Financial Services domains.
Exposure to cloud database platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
Knowledge of ITIL processes and incident management.
