Supervisor - Accounting

Primary Responsibilities:
Positions in this function maintain general ledger accounts and related activities to produce financial statements and reports
Performs account reconciliations and analyses, prepares journal entries and reviews accounting classifications, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
Analyzes and prepares financial statements, including balance sheets and statements of financial position
Involved in the monthly/quarterly 'close' process
Prepares documentation in support of external and internal audits
Coordinates, supervises and is accountable for the daily activities of business support, technical or production team or unit
Comply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and business directives, changes including those relating to work location, team assignments, work schedules, and flexible work arrangements
Qualifications - External
Required Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant with post qualification - 6+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit, and compliance
Experience handling statutory audits, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting requirements
Solid knowledge of Ind AS, Indian GAAP/US GAAP, Companies Act, and auditing practices
Good understanding of internal controls and financial processes
Proficiency in ERP systems (PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced Excel
Proven effective communication and interpersonal skills
