Role Description This is a remote contract role for a PLM Solution Architect – Windchill at SARACA. The individual in this role will design and optimize Windchill-based PLM architectures, ensuring alignment with customer business processes and enterprise systems. Daily responsibilities include gathering requirements, creating solution designs, configuring and customizing Windchill, and overseeing integration with other applications. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to provide consulting guidance, conducting technical reviews, and supporting implementation, migration, and performance tuning activities. The PLM Solution Architect will also contribute to best practices, documentation, and knowledge sharing across project teams.
Required Expertise:
• 15+ years of PLM experience
• 10+ years of hands-on PTC Windchill architecture & implementation
• Experience leading large-scale greenfield Windchill/PLM transformation programs
• Strong expertise in PDMLink, MPMLink, PartLink, Change & Configuration Management
• BOM/eBOM/mBOM management and BOM synchronization
• Supplier & Document Management
• CAD data management and visualization
• Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM) / ETL migration experience
• CAD integrations: Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor
• ERP/MES integrations, especially SAP
• ThingWorx, Navigate, IoT/Digital Thread environments
• REST APIs, OData, Info*Engine, middleware/iPaaS
• Java/J2EE, Oracle/SQL Server
• LDAP/Active Directory, Apache/Tomcat
• Windchill clustering, performance tuning, scalability, security/ACL architecture
