We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Architect / Interior Designer to join our team at ParallelSpace. This role offers hands-on exposure to architectural and interior design projects, from concept development and visualisation to detailed drawings and execution coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in developing architectural layouts, interior space plans, and design concepts.
Prepare accurate drawings, working details, and revisions using AutoCAD.
Develop SketchUp models and create renders using a rendering tool such as Enscape, Lumion, V-Ray, or D5 Render.
Prepare mood boards, material palettes, and client presentations.
Use AI tools for everyday tasks, including design research, concept exploration, presentation preparation, and routine documentation.
Support material selection, site measurements, and coordination with vendors and project teams.
Incorporate design feedback and maintain organised project files.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a degree/diploma in Interior Design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp, with working knowledge of at least one rendering tool.
Good understanding of space planning, materials, detailing, and design presentation.
Familiarity with AI tools and willingness to explore practical applications.
Clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively.
