Senior Full Stack Developer

Role: Senior Full Stack Developer (React/PHP)
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)

About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Engineer to help build and evolve reliable systems for the Privacy & Safety Regulations team. You will work closely with product managers, analysts, researchers, operations partners, and other engineers to deliver customer and business outcomes. The role combines hands-on software development with technical leadership within the team: clarifying ambiguous problems, making sound trade-offs, managing dependencies, and helping the team deliver high-quality systems.
Requirements
Must-Haves
Strong front-end experience (React).
Strong hands-on expertise building reliable backend platforms, APIs, and distributed systems.
Proficiency in at least one production language (PHP or Python) with a focus on clean, testable, and maintainable software.
Experience with cloud infrastructure (ideally GCP), CI/CD, service observability, and production incident response.
Ability to communicate clearly and build cross-functional alignment across product, legal, and engineering teams.
Foundational knowledge or strong interest in privacy-by-design, data minimization, access controls, and compliance concepts.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience with data pipelines, metadata systems, PII discovery, classification, or sensitive data controls.
Integrating and operating third-party privacy, governance, or workflow platforms.
Privacy-preserving approaches for AI and machine learning systems.
