About the Role
As a Freelance Digital Marketing Specialist at Alia, you’ll primarily focus on social media management but will also be responsible for managing paid digital media campaigns to drive measurable results for our clients. In addition, as a startup, our projects often extend beyond the usual scope, requiring a hands-on approach in supporting various business needs, especially business development.
This is a remote freelance opportunity with flexibility to work independently while collaborating closely with the founder to deliver exceptional results.
What You'll Do
Social Media Management
Develop and execute engaging social media strategies tailored to each client’s goals and to Alia’s goals.
Create, schedule, and publish posts across multiple platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Tik Tok, etc.).
Actively engage with audiences to foster community growth and interaction.
Track and analyze metrics to optimize performance.
Paid Media Campaigns
Plan, launch, and manage paid digital media campaigns (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Google Ads) to achieve client objectives.
Monitor performance metrics and adjust campaigns to maximize ROI.
Content Creation
Ability to create high-quality photo and video content using a smartphone and edit it into engaging social media content, including Reels and Stories.
Design visually appealing assets using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
Write compelling and on-brand captions for posts.
Research trends and implement fresh, creative ideas for content.
Other Needed Business Support (Especially Business Development)
Provide support in other business areas as required by the agency’s evolving needs.
Assist with ad-hoc tasks and projects that contribute to Alia’s growth and success.
Client Collaboration
Communicate directly with clients to understand their goals and adapt strategies to meet them.
Provide updates on performance and suggest improvements.
Who You Are
Experience
Proven experience in social media management and digital marketing.
A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to drive engagement and achieve results.
Familiarity with paid media campaign management.
Skills
Exceptional writing and content creation skills.
Proficiency in social media platforms, analytics tools (e.g. Instagram Insights, Google Analytics), and ad management platforms (e.g. Facebook Ads Manager).
Hands-on experience using AI tools to create content, develop ideas, and streamline day-to-day digital marketing tasks.
Experience with design tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
