Role Description<

The Web Development Intern role at Smart Clicks is a remote internship focused on supporting the design, development, and maintenance of web platforms that showcase the company’s digital content services. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with front-end development, implementing basic back-end functionality under guidance, updating website layouts and content, and ensuring responsive, user-friendly interfaces. The intern will collaborate with the content and design teams to integrate multimedia elements, optimize site performance, and troubleshoot minor technical issues. The role also involves participating in virtual meetings, documenting work, and learning best practices in modern web development.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Front-End Development and Web Design to build responsive, accessible, and visually appealing user interfaces.
Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development to support server-side logic, basic APIs, and data handling.
Candidates should possess skills in general Web Development to integrate front-end and back-end components and work with standard web technologies.
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and creative teams in a remote environment.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one back-end technology (e.g., Node.js, PHP, or similar) is beneficial.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to learn quickly, follow coding standards, manage time independently, and adapt to project requirements in a remote setting.
