The role
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with overtime on offer. No weekends.
This is an exciting new opportunity to join our team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic technician to join our current Parts Washer service team. Based out of our Newport site, the technician will carry out the refurbishment, servicing and repair of our Parts Washer machines, both in our own workshops and out in the field at our customer sites nationwide.
Our parts washers can effectively clean oil, grease and other contaminants from various components, but what really makes our machines unique is that they can clean their own solvent! The self-contained micro-refinery found within our machines keeps the solvent clean upon demand, meaning cost savings on solvent replacement and maintenance. So we require a practical person with a keen interest in engineering and servicing of machinery and appliances. No Parts Washer product knowledge is required as full training with ongoing support and development will be provided.
We are Smart, Honest and Reliable, working Together whilst having Fun. The successful candidate will be able demonstrate the Slicker workplace values, be available to work Monday to Friday, hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel and work/stay away from home - with compensation package and overtime opportunities.
